Support School Programs

$

“The Kentucky Center provides a great service to support the professional development of arts teachers and schools. An example of this support comes in the form of summer teacher academies and institutes where teachers spend a full five days immersed in the arts, actively doing them and discovering how to engage students in active learning in the arts. Teachers leave these academies refreshed and loaded with new ideas and techniques for the classroom.” - Philip E. Shepherd, Project Director for the National Coalition for Core Arts Standards
