Louisville Improvisors are proud to announce the IMPROVAPALOOZA 13 lineup. This year’s festival will include The Black Version (Groundlings, L.A.) and Louisville's own, Louisville Improvisors.
What is the Black Version?
The audience suggests the title of a popular film and an all-black cast of actors improvises the black version. In the second act we bring you all of the DVD Extras! Funny? Yes! Politically Correct? Hell to the Naw!!!

What is Improvapalooza ?
Improvapalooza was founded in the year 2000 by the Louisville Improvisors to showcase the wide variety and styles from the world of improv. It is the longest running improv comedy festival in the Southeast, bringing together the best improvisors in the country, including writers, producers, and performers from The Simpsons, SNL, The Daily Show, MAD TV among others. IMPROVAPALOOZA has also featured the top improv groups from Louisville, Nashville, St. Louis, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Ft. Wayne, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Chicago.
Who are the Louisville Improvisors?
Louisville Improvisors originated ensemble improvisation in Louisville in 1999 and have continued to explore the unique art form of Theatrical Improvisation ever since. Their concept shows walk the tightrope of unscripted theatre... combining traditional stage work with the unpredictable elements of improv. The result is an adrenaline pumping evening where anything goes... and usually does.
