Buddy Guy and Jonny Lang
Brown-Forman Midnite Ramble
The ambassador of Chicago Blues, BUDDY GUY is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and a primary musical influence for guitar “gods” like Hendrix, Clapton, Beck, and Vaughan. Buddy has received 23 W.C. Handy Blues Awards (the most any artist has received), the Billboard Magazine Century Award for distinguished artistic achievement, and the Presidential National Medal of Arts. At the age of 72, he appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone for the first time, and is ranked #30 in Rolling Stone’s “100 Greatest Guitarists of all Time.” In 2010, Buddy won his sixth Grammy, a “Best Contemporary Blues Album” award, for Living Proof.

JONNY LANG is a Grammy-winning performer who topped the Billboard New Artist chart with his first album at age 15. Critics were stunned to find out that the grizzled voice and blistering guitar licks on Lang’s debut recording Lie to Me belonged to a kid in high school. A professional musician since age 12, Lang has toured with the Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, B.B. King, Blues Traveler, Jeff Beck and Sting. As an adult, Lang has often confounded music insiders with his attempts to combine Rock, Blues, and religion, while audiences continue to flock to his live shows. In 2010, Lang released Live at the Ryman, his first album since Turn Around, which earned him a Grammy in 2006 for “Best Gospel Album.”
