Are you ready to slam like you mean it? Rheonna Nicole and The Kentucky Center’s ArtsReach program present the second annual LIPSTICK WARS female poetry competition for poets ages 12-and-up. Poets will come together for one night to recite poems about the empowerment and motivational uprising of women. First, second and third place winners will receive cash awards.

Featured poets include Jasemine Reed, Robin G., Shasparay, Jasmine Swanagan, Lisa C., Floetic Flo, Ashlee Haze, Kwynn Riley, Alisha, Jreya, Micah, Mizz Quoted, Chinnel, Angelique Palmer, Honey Sanaa, and Mari, along with hosts Nipsey Green and Brandon "B Shatter" Harrison.

The Kentucky Center ArtsReach program nurtures and develops diverse artists and audiences, engages youth, creates community through the arts and through professional development empowers community centers to program the arts.
