Imagine a performing arts venue with the energy of a nightclub. A venue that is intimate and wide open to creative possibilities. Over the course of several days, Old Forester’s Paristown Hall could host one of today’s hottest indie rock bands, tomorrow’s rising pop star, a contemporary performance by the Louisville Orchestra, and an event celebrating Louisville’s diverse international music community spanning the globe. With its incredible flexibility and versatility, Old Forester’s Paristown Hall will surprise and delight not only audiences, but artists with its accommodations.
Supporting Local, Regional and National Artists
Old Forester’s Paristown Hall is a standing-room, general admission venue for national touring bands, collaborative projects, local and regional artists, new works and nontraditional performance experiences. The culturally curious will experience a whole different take on the region’s performing arts in an alternative space to the traditional concert hall.
The project is a $12 million, 28,000 sq. ft. standing room venue accommodating up to 2,000 patrons. The design is fluid and flexible to accommodate a myriad of performance styles. The venue will include an adjacent green space area that will be activated with public events and festivals. We have been inspired by comparable venues across the USA to emulate, while being authentic to Louisville.
